Ranbir Kapoor is an actor who is very media shy and talks only during his film releases. The actor who walked out mid way from a press conference recently, when he was questioned about his personal life has decided not to be part of Bombay Velvet promotions.A leading daily quotes, "To avoid similar situations in the future, Kapoor Jr has made it clear to the makers of Bombay Velvet, his next release, that he won't be attending press conferences. Even if he does attend film-related events, he won't entertain personal questions. "The leading daily also adds, "After he staged a walkout of an event mid-way, his resolve of keeping his personal and professional life separate, has become stronger. He has made it clear to his makers of BV in no uncertain terms, that he will only give a handful of interviews. In fact, he wants strict instructions to be given to all media people attending the events to steer clear of personal questions, lest the focus shifts from the film." Apparently, this has not gone done well with director Anurag Kashyap who feels the film is already delayed due to many reasons.While no actor likes to talk anything about his personal life, nobody has ever laid any rules to the media. Even big stars like Amitabh and Shahrukh promote their films. Bombay Velvet features Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar debuts as an antagonist. Let's wait and watch if Ranbir changes his mind about the promotions.
